New Member Starter Guide

Interested in playing with us?

Don't be intimidated—we're an all skills band! Many NoD members haven't touched our instruments for many years before joining up. You don't even have to play an instrument: if you want to sing, chant, dance, color guard, carry stuff, sit in the tent, or help out with other administrative tasks, we want you!

No need to audition, just show up to a rehearsal or band meeting. We rehearse approximately once a week in a make-it-if-you-can cadence with occasional full band rehearsals for bigger protests or performances.

First step: Join Our Discord, where you can introduce yourself to the band and get more information.

Suggested learning order.

Joining Discord also gives you access to our sheet music library (copyright prohibits us from broad distribution, so ask one of our leadership to help you). Songs aren't in any particular order other than their section.
