Indoor Facility
The first chill of fall has been creeping in all around Colorado like the encroaching boom of thunder. Our group will not be chased indoors by the rain, but instead embrace it, for we have access to an indoor facility! Shoutout to the Neighborhood Music School in Aurora and Marisa, who works there and pulled the strings!
Expanding and participating in this community has been humbling and the experience of a lifetime, so thank you all for making it happen.

T-Shirt Distribution and Care
It's been a second for the newsletter, so for those who don't know, we have T-Shirts! These shirts still need to find their home! Please come to a rehearsal, event, or get in contact with someone in Leadership to get that.

Upcoming Events
Full Band Events
- 9/21: Sun Day Solar Event - 1PM
We will be performing at this call to action celebrating the power of clean energy! Please come to City Park Esplanade, Denver at noon to help set and warm up!
Also a frequent question has been will this event replace the Denver rehearsal. We agreed that this is an either situation. Please head to rehearsal if that time is better for you or come to the event! (Of course, both are an option if you have the chops!)
10/12: Full Band Dress Rehearsal - 9:00AM If you are planning to perform at the Concert on October 25th, please come to this or next week's rehearsal! It will be at Neighborhood Music School in Aurora!

October 25th: Notes of Dissent Concert - 9:30AM Mark your calendars and spread the word! We will be having this FREE CONCERT at the Boulder Public Library! Doors open at 10:15, so please arrive by 10!
Small Group Events
- 9/20 Indivisible Leadership Meeting: We will be doing a small performance (one or two songs) along with a couple of our leadership folks giving quick speeches about the how/what/why of Notes of Dissent as a presentation on alternative forms of protesting! The event will take place at 6842 Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80003 (Community Recreation Center), and we'll be onstage from 2:00 PM - 2:15 PM. We're looking for enough folks to show up to get a decent instrumentation, let us know if you can make it by filling out the form linked in the Potential Events section below! If you can make it, call time is at 1:45 PM sharp, as we only have a 15 minute window onstage for songs and leadership talks. The Indivisible event itself will last basically all day, so feel free to come earlier and stay later!

- Denver: Sundays, 10:00AM-12:00PM at Washington Park (Picnic Area 4)
- Fort Collins: Sundays, 10:00AM-12:00PM at Twin Silo Park (Saber Cat Dr)
- Colorado Springs: Sundays 11:00AM-1:00PM at America the Beautiful Park
- Boulder: Saturdays 10:00AM-12:00PM at East Boulder Community Park (Gazebo near Dog Park)Meetings
- Welcome/ Q&A: We have a weekly New Member Welcome session in the discord General voice channel every Thursday at 7 PM. This is a great way for new (and existing!) members to get a tour of the discord server and ask any questions you may have!
- Weekly Band Meeting: We hold our full band meeting weekly right after the Welcome Sessions at 7:15 PM every Thursday in the General voice channel in the discord server. We encourage every member to join this meeting if they can to give welcome feedback on important discussions and decisions for the band! There is a link in the discord server to a google doc to add discussion topics if you have any.
